One of the hardest things about photographing bridals is not being able to share the pictures with everyone right after they’re taken, especially when your bride is absolutely breathtaking in her dress like Courtney! We chose to do her bridal session at First Landing State Park so that the majority of the portraits could be done on the beach, but with some variety from the forested side of the park as well. Even though it was the weekend, the park wasn’t too busy and we also got some gorgeous weather to work with. Courtney’s family came along as well, and it was so nice to meet them before the wedding.
Everything about Courtney’s wedding dress was perfect and it was as if the dress was made exactly for her. When she told me it was from David’s Bridal, I sure didn’t believe her (I’m still not sure I do!) because there was definitely nothing like it there when I was choosing my wedding dress several years ago! If I had to choose one favorite thing about her dress, I don’t think I could, but it might have to be the gorgeous open back, tulle skirt, or how it paired perfectly with Courtney’s veil!
